The advantages of KAOPOZZTM is as follows:

The mechanism of KAOPOZZTM
The water react with Portland cement and produce hydration calcium silicate(CSH), meantime it produce the outgrowth--calcium hydroxide (lime) whose amount can take up 20-25% of cement weight after hydrating. The lime is not only helpful to the performance of concrete and mortar, but harmful. When KAOPOZZTM is mixed into concrete and mortar, it can react with dissociative lime and create new colloidal material(see formula below) so as to make the intensity of concrete and mortar more strong and perdurable, meantime reduce and eliminate a series of problems such as: efflorescence, penetration which is caused by lime. KAOPOZZTM can react with lime whose weight is 1.6 times max.

KAOPOZZTM has the ability of fast reaction with lime. High reactive metakaolin can finish the reaction with calcium hydroxide in the concrete in 14 days under the condition of filler amount is 20% according to the research by Larbi and Jones, etc.
KAOPOZZTM is of fast and efficient reaction with lime, there are two ways to control efforescence as follows:
